DartFS keeps “snapshots” (previous versions) of files and folder automatically. You can retrieve files and folder going back:
- every day for a week
- every week for a month
- every month for six months
To access previous version(s) of an existing (undeleted) file
- navigate to the file using Windows Explorer
- right-click on the desired file and select “Restore previous versions”
- in the new window, select the appropriate to restore and click Ok.
To access previous version(s) of an deleted file/folder
- navigate to the parent directory (i.e. the directory that used to contain the now missing file/folder) using Windows Explorer
- right-click on the parent directory and select “Restore previous versions”
- in the new window, select the appropriate to restore and click Ok.
