Dartmouth makes a wide range of research software available.

  • Atlas.ti. Atlas.ti is an application used for qualitative analysis of large bodies of textual, graphical, audio and video data.
  • Jupyter Notebook on Local Machines. The Jupyter Notebook is an open-source web application that allows you to create and share documents that contain live code, equations, visualizations and narrative text.
  • Abbyy Software. Abbyy Software tools are available on a limited basis via Remote Desktop Services. Among other things, this software allows you to view, edit, and pull text from PDFs.
  • XQuartz and Enabling GLX (OpenGL). XQuartz is the Mac software package to display X11 graphical applications from remote servers, primarily Unix/Linux.
