ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS StoryMaps
ArcGIS Online is a browser-based Geographic Information System (GIS). Dartmouth students, faculty and staff have access through our sitewide license. Works well with Google Chrome browser, Firefox, Safari.
ArcGIS StoryMaps is a web-mapping and web-storytelling tool to mix media such as images, text, maps and video clips all in presentation-quality bloglike environment. Review the steps below to create an ArcGIS Online account, and then open up a new browser tab and navigate to https://storymaps.arcgis.com/
Login

Log in, using your Dartmouth NetID and password at https://dartmouth.maps.arcgis.com/home/index.html (or use the shorter dartgo link, dartgo.org/arcgisonline )

Click the “Sign In” button in the upper right corner

Then click the blue “Dartmouth College” button

An ArcGIS Online account will be provisioned for you on Dartmouth’s subscription service, with web-map capabilities and cloud storage for GIS data
