Accessing ArcGIS Online

Browser-based, software as a service for mapping, GIS and spatial analysis.

Navigate to https://dartgo.org/arcgisonline.

Click “Sign In” and choose “Enterprise Login - Dartmouth College”

Sign in with NetID and password. This will self-provision an account if it is new, or bring you to your Dartmouth ArcGIS Online account where you can create maps, create and store spatial data and perform spatial analysis. The system can use data you provide or you can access many ArcGIS / ESRI geospatial data sets. It will also provision a “My ESRI” account, with permission to download ESRI software and access ESRI online GIS training modules.

Using ArcGIS Online

ESRI Academy has tutorials and how-to videos that are included with your ArcGIS Online account. Visit https://www.esri.com/training/ to search for training or browse various learning plans here: https://www.esri.com/training/learning-plans/.

If the enterprise login takes you to a screen indicating to “Request an Invitation” to My ESRI or ArcGIS Online, or if you have issues getting to the training modules, send a message to research.computing@dartmouth.edu and we’ll send out the invitation from the My ESRI portal.
