We offer multiple modes of engagement to meet the evolving needs of researchers at Dartmouth:

We are committed to providing a baseline level of free service to all researchers at Dartmouth. For enhanced support or infrastructure, pricing details are outlined below.

Storage
DartFS - Network Attached Storage
All researchers of the Dartmouth community are entitled to a Research Computing Bill-of-Rights level of service at no cost.

Storage with snapshots is the default type of storage we provide. The snapshots will provide self-service protection against unintentional deletion/modification of the files. Snapshots are available immediately to the user for the following durations:
- Daily for a week
- Weekly for a month
- Monthly for 3 months
Storage without snapshots is available at a lower cost. It is appropriate for data that can easily be reproduced.
Off-site backup is a paid service that provides copies of data in the cloud or on removable media.

Virtual Servers

- Operating Systems support includes critical updates and security patches, and basic software maintenance
