Apply for LLM Usage Credits
Last modified on September 23, 2026 • 2 min read • 230 wordsThere is an exciting new opportunity for Dartmouth faculty and enrolled students. If you have a research idea that has been blocked by LLM capacity, cost, or privacy concerns, this is a great opportunity to revisit that!
Dartmouth has been awarded $100,000 worth of credit for Amazon Bedrock to support research that depends on large-scale AI infrastructure, and you are invited to apply for a share of these credits.
Amazon Bedrock is a fully managed cloud LLM inference service providing access to a wide range of foundation models through a single API, well suited to projects involving large-scale inference, retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning, and agent-based workflows. Successful applicants may also choose to utilize Bedrock models through Dartmouth Chat (web app or API). Whichever path you choose, the Research Computing & Data department and ITC will assist you with the setup.
