What is Dartmouth Chat?  

Dartmouth Chat is an online tool available to members of the Dartmouth community through a partnership between Dartmouth Libraries and Research Computing and Data Services. The fully-featured online chat platform is similar to tools such as ChatGPT and Claude AI. From Dartmouth Chat, you can interact with several open-source local models as well as third-party cloud models by providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. Researching Computing and Data Services provides access to Dartmouth Chat free of charge, up to a daily limit.
